I love the energy that is present around the New Year. The feeling of change, renewal and rebirth. My primary purpose is to motivate Myself and others to focus on self-improvement. Making New Years Resolutions is a great way to set the tone for progress. For 2017 I have set 10 personal Goals.
They misunderstand true power entirely.
Being a Queen isn’t about manufactured drama. It’s about the steadiness to hold a boundary without trembling. It’s the quiet certainty that my standards are not negotiable, not because I’m cold, but because clarity is a kindness most people never receive.
I’ve learned something over the years:
When you carry yourself like someone who knows exactly what she offers, people don’t question you. They organize themselves around you.
To serve, to be allowed in My presence.
When I was a sophomore in college, I met a prospect for dinner. I had communicated with him for an extended period of time over several online pathways. He showed up bearing a beautiful under waist corset in shiny red PVC and a Hello Kitty Backpack. I had told him to wrap the gift in Hello Kitty Gift Wrap and he couldn't find any. That was one of the cutest ideas ever. I loved that thing.
He ended up becoming a permanent and very important part of My stable from 2008 to 2013. We even went to DomCon together. He decided to deny his true nature and marry a vanilla woman in 2013, I respected his decision and we haven't spoken since.
My apartment isn’t filled with grand statements. It’s the small things, subtle, placed deliberate, unmistakably me … things that give it its pulse.
There is a chair no one sits in unless I say so. My perfectly arranged stack of notebooks, each one containing a different version of my mind.
The scents I choose, warm, dark, intentional .. all hanging in the air the moment you walk in.
My favorite mug says “I am a dominatrix, not a magician”. I have a mirror placed exactly where I can catch myself admiring myself before stepping outside and remember that I am that bitch.
Fresh flowers I buy for myself, to beautify the room, mark it as lived-in, chosen, claimed - Alive.
Lots of pens. A certain spot on the couch that feels like my command center.A throw blanket that looks soft but has a weight to it, like a corset - a sense of being held.
Keys placed in the same hook since I moved in, not out of habit, but because order calms me in a way nothing else does.
None of these things scream for attention.
But together, they create a space that doesn’t just look like mine it behaves like mine.
It’s a home that reflects the way I lead:
quiet, intentional, unmistakably in control.

People feel that precision, strategy, mindfulness and gratitude, all rooted in intention, and they either rise to it or get intimidated by it.
Intention can make or break the dynamic. Intentions help that it thrives. But a foundation of sandy fantasy will suffer lead to a complete collapse - sooner or later.
I expect clarity because I give clarity.

Oh, how I have neglected My little online pets. Plans change so quickly, it never ceases to amaze Me. Less than 48 hours ago, I was setting up My computer to finally write up a new post. Then I encountered an interruption. Not once, but twice did I have to change My schedule in a major way. They were welcome changes as I love an unplanned, super productive meeting, of the (kinky) mind variety ;)
Initially, I had planned to get brunch with My neighbor Saturday. She had to cancel last minute. With a little extra time on My hands, I decided to get into an extra intense period of meditation. Just as I came out of this state of bliss, My Saturday night date called, asking to come over earlier. I was open to switching things around a bit. The things on My to-do list could surely be tackled after we spend an hour or two together.Certainly very productive weekend after all, yet in a very unexpected manner. The spontaneous plan of bringing Me coffee and bagels on a Saturday morning turned into a 10 hour session, ending in a beautiful Saturday night get together with friends. Spending that much time together requires strong chemistry and a deep connection. Mutual energy allowed for serious explorations, much progress, and most importantly, some major breakthroughs, on both sides.As wonderful as yesterday panned out, I made a surprise stop at the Parthenon Studio today. A long time favorite slut called me in the morning hours and convinced Me to make a trip to Herald Square with short notice. Traveling in Manhattan can be hit or miss on Sundays. The weather certainly turned out to be a bit on the miss side, the play time however... Pure amazingness.Needless to say, I don't like to whip and tell (too much), but I finally got to play with a Venus 2000 milking machine again. It must have been years! Neat reintroduction, great weekend... Good January trip. More than I could have ever wished for or expected. To - Do list still standing strong, guess I better get a reliable errand staff.
